christianity

I am extremely interested in the truth about Christanity and God. My interest has led me to study and gain insight about the many ways poeple choose to worship God. It really can be confusing to the average person almost to the point of rejecting God altogether.
In my quest for the truth I have been involved with the Catholics, the Meathodist, Lutherans Pentecostals, Church of God, Church of Christ, and others, even the Jehovah"s Witnesses. What I have learned so far is that to get at the "real" truth a person must go back to the beginning, the origin of where it all started.
Jesus, himself was a devout Jew. Without Judaism there would be no Chistianity. So that should be a clue about where to find the truth.
Many people will argue that "the Jews killed Jesus", well maybe that might be true but we should not generalize who "the Jews" were that did this. In fact, it was a small group of chief priests and teachers of the Jewish law that plotted against Jesus out of jealousy and fear of the roman authorities of the time. The vast majority of the "jews"actually followed Jesus, at least those who heard his teachings and witnessed his miracles.
God, the true God, the creator of the universe and all that is in it sent Jesus here for a reason, a very important reason. That is to give all mankind hope. Hope for salvation. Hope for everlasting life in a place where there is no death, no war, no poverty, no grief. Only pure peace and joy unspeakable.
In the beginning of God"s relationship with his most exellent creation "us", He chose certain ones to communicate His ways, to make known his wishes, and instuctions for His people to have the best life possible. His Law or commandments were for the good of people. When these things were ignored trouble happened. If a person murdered it affected others, then revenge. Adultry caused mistrust then family breakdown and so on. All of Gods laws are for our own good.
These sins of the people were forgiven only if a sacrifice was made. Generally it was a lamb without spot or blemish that had to be killed on an alter. A perfect sacrifice, the blood of the sacrifice must be shed to atone for the wrong things the people were doing.
God knows that as people born into sin from one man, Adam, we are all prone to do things that are against Gods laws. Knowing that it is impossible for us to keep the Law and the commandments He, out of his unconditional pure love for us sent His first born perfect creation, His only begotten Son, as a perfect sacrifice to atone for the sins of the whole world, not just for the Jewish people but for any of mankind who hear this message and believe in Jesus and what He did for all of us.

There is more I want to share with anyone who reads this. Follow my next blog and I will explain why I believe what I do in more detail.
